I can't remember which side it is, but, to one side of Audie Murphy is boxer Joe Louis.

no, he is not buried next to a boxer... the information that i have found so far says that on one side of him is allan david gardner who was a SF Cpt in vietnam...then it says that on the other said was his best friend robert.. i am still trying to find the info on this robert character...i will be sure and post when i find it out!!

CPT Alan Gardner is buried to the left of Major Murphy and to the right is a old tree. That's right, he is buried at the end of a row next to a tree.

I've actually been there to bury a brother when I was a SPC. I do remember the tree.
