Oh well.
Hey, isn't cold outside today? I am tripping over the long icicles hanging from the awnings. Those icicles are going to fall soon. I hople they don't crack someone's head open.

I know, they are hanging like a few feet down from my gutters. It's funny, they are so long. I haven't ventured outdoors yet today but I might soon. Hate being cooped up in the house.

When I look at them, I can't help but say, "WTF?" I, too, hate being cooped up, especially this weekend because I was supposed to go to St. Louis to visit my friend. The weather here is supposed to get better this week just in time for the four-day weekend. I am outty on Friday morning! Time away from the city of Leavenworth is time well spent!
Hey, since you work behind the bars, do you know a SPC White?

I know a female SPC White, but she works at the company, not in the prison. 92A? I'm about to run out for a few, but if you have yahoo messenger you can just send me a message. Hit the little Y! button under this posting. If not I'll try and find you here when I return.

Yep, that's her. I don't know her per se. One morning, I was walking to work, and she was kind enough to offer me a ride. That's the first and last time I saw her.
I only have yahoo at home. I am at the office, now. I'll add you to my yahoo messeger list when I get home, if that's okay with you.

[quote:b02920d87a="TenaciousP"]74B is the best job in the army... as long as you get to work your job. Im stranded in an MI training room. Great Fun.[/quote:b02920d87a]
I was wondering. Have you spoken to your branch manager to get you the hell out of that MI unit? Our branch manager moved two 74B's from Leavenworth. However, he sends them to Korea in-route to a pinpoint assignment. After their tours in Korea, one is going to Huachuca and the other is going to Germany. I rather stick it out in Leavenworth. I don't want to go to Korea. I hear it smells like shit there 24/7.

[quote:fd0f777e46="LT"]Didn't you know that Leavenworth was just a pit-stop to Korea? Everyone goes there from here.[/quote:fd0f777e46]
You know something? Most soldiers do go to Korea, because most of their enlistments are 3-4 years. Leavenworth is my first duty station, and I signed a 6 year enlistment. Hopefully, when I PCS, I will have 3 years for another assignment.
Also, Leavenworth is a place where you can be forgotten. I met a 74B NCO who was in an E-4 slot for 4.5 years. He had to scream at branch to move him. Had he not made any noise, he would have stayed for 5 years for sure. By the way, he's was sent to Korea!

It was that way with me, I had enough time to be sent to Germany, while everyone else I know was sent to Korea. I came back early though, didn't complete my tour in Germany.
