Sleep Apnea is a D.Q. to enlist. Can it be considered for a waiver?

Also, this was an acute case and is no longer an issue because of weight lose. If I go to the same MD and he says I no longer have Sleep Apnea, which diagnosis will the MD at MEPS consider?

The doc at the meps will review the documentation which diagnosed you with sleep apnea and then also the new medical documents clearing you of the issue. He will then either recommend or not recommend you for a waiver which will go through the usarec channel to the surgeon general. Make sure all documents are in place and your case is air tight.
