Well, they will either let me retake it, or the Army can kiss my ass and I'm not signing anything. Their loss.
My recruiter and his boss said I can retake it if at MEPS they tell me I can't have it due to my ASVAB score.

Good luck. Now you know the basic structure of the ASVAB and what you need to study up on.
Even if you do retake it, if you did not prepare for it and try to do your best it may limit the opportunities for you down the road. I have seen many Soldier have to take classes, kind of like the Army's version of summer school, just to increase their GT score.
The first time I took it was to get out of classes in highschool and I got in the low 90s, the second time was a few years later when I signed up for the free beer koozie and lanyard and I got in the upper 90s. I was lucky because I kind of already knew what to expect and could get mentally prepared for each section.

Aviation101, I know you're far from being a quitter. You've wanted to join the US Army for awhile now and don't let a low score prevent you. You should be able to have your first "RETEST" after a month. After that it will probably be a six month wait before taking another retest.
Definitely talk with your Recruiter if your score is preventing you from obtaining the job you want...and see when you can retake the test if needed.

Here's the deal. My recruiter is on his way to help me get the rest of my paper work squard away and then off to MEPS thursday to friday. I have a talk with the people there about if I can get 91W or not. If I can't, then I'll retake the ASVAB.
I know I scored way high in vocabulary, paragraph comp. and I'm pretty sure I did ok with math.
I'll find out my linescores and GT tomorrow.

If I can't get 91W, I'm just going to take another job and reclass later after I've enlisted.
The reason being...If I were to retake the ASVAB and score even LOWER, then there's no way I can get in the army. I'd rather deal with a dumb job I didnt' want and be in the army, then never being able to join due to a stupid test I scored crappy on.
I know it sounds like I'm havin a bad attitude about this, but it just pisses me off. I know I'm not stupid. Geez, I'm 17 and going to be getting my private pilot's license the end of june. But the army has labled me stupid because of a test, it's not their fault I test badly.
That's the way things go sometimes. I'll just take the class the army provides to help raise my GT and ASVAB score later on.
My recruiter's boss will be picking me up at 1745 to drive me to the Hotel for MEPS tomorrow.
