I originally had my physical in Oct. The recruiter took friggin forever to finally get me to MEPS for my list of jobs, and I finally got there a week ago. I ended up letting them convince me to enlist 74D. Since then I have been reading alot of different posts across the net. Now I think I may have been railroaded a bit, into a job they needed to fill rather than an actual list I should have been offered.

Does anyone know if it's possible for me to request a change of jobs before I actually ship? -or- am I already "enlisted" and now a 74D no matter what?

I do believe it's possible to switch MOS's but it will be long process and time consuming.

On the evening of the seventh day the Lord looked over His creation and saw that it was good. He said, Let there be a breed of great warriors to protect the people from evil. They shall ride beasts of iron and steel and speak with breaths of fire and destruction. They shall be feared by all that is evil. The people shall call these warriors who are masters of their beasts
