I went and took my asvab last night. I also did a phone interveiw with the 1SG thats gonna get me my moral waivers and nxt week i should be able to take my physical and enlist. I doubt i'll be able to get security clearance for the jobs i want but i had some back ups anyways. Just had to tell someone.

Congratulations. do you know what you got on the ASVAB? I cannot remember how long it takes.

What is a Moral Waiver? I have never heard of that.

Assuming its similar to what we have to put in for our Warrant Packets, its a waiver for some types of convictions, article 15, things along those lines.

Its waivers becuz i had a criminal past DUI and the like. That was my main concern. My AFQT was 91 and all the other scores were from the mid 120's to mid 130's.

Well, good luck. Until you join we are happy to have you around. Even after that, maybe you can help answer other questions from people thinking of joining. At least you are dealing with some stuff that not a lot of us have had to deal with and you input in the future for someone that may be going through the same thing will be invaluable (correct word?)
