Question about Ft. Leonard Wood. Two things will there be snow on the ground at the end of February, how cold is cold? Also compared to Ft. Jackson is the Basic Training on the same level? Any info would help. Thanks

You're gonna have a freakin blast at Ft. Sam Houston. I'm guessing your in your early 20's, with a Bach degree and all, so you can go to all the clubs, bars, etc. San Antonio is a really nice city, lots of things to see and do, you should definitely check out the six flags amusement park they've got. Congrats on your enlistment too, enjoy the snow at Leonard Wood.

Actually by the time I ship I will be 33 years old. So the club thing is not my style anymore. But I'll check out six flag for sure. Gosh basic in snow wow.

Hmm well today is December 1st and we had the first snow of the winter last night and got around 6-7 inches of snow. It all depends on what kind of year it is, but I can tell you that it's going to be very cold if you're not used to it, so good luck, I'll be goin through WLC from Jan-Feb so I'll be suckin right along with you.
