I know a mnemonic (sp?) device for remembering the steps to Evaluate a Casualty ... is that what you're looking for?

there are two main ones.

Real Black Boots Shine Faster By Hand

or

Real Bad Boys Should Find Better Habits

they stand for Responsiveness, Breathing, Bleeding, Shock, Fractures, Burns, Head Injuries

How about the "alternate" version of FTA...Fun, Travel, Adventure. Is what we all signed up for right!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I learned an R (or X depending on how conservative you are) rated one for the casualty evaluation. From an Infantryman no less :mrgreen:

U.S.M.C.= Uncle Sam's Misguided Children

Marine= My Ass Rides In Navy Equipment

Memory trick for OPORDER paragraphs "Sergeant Major Eats Sugar Cookies"

Im learning so many new acronyms on this deployment. like some email from my Co would come out saying 'I need a POC number for all NCOs in the barracs NTL COB friday' and 'follow these rules IAW AR-bla,bla,bla'. Soon the army will have to publish a DA PAM-something for all the acronyms used and we will start writing in code. All the "HOOAH sergeant" are going out the window and being replaced with 'DILLIGAF sargeant' or 'YCKMA sargeant' Well atleast it is here, yall might know what they mean.
