Thanks for reminding me of another great movie/quote, from "Good Morning Vietnam"
"Seeing as how the VP is such a VIP, shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT? 'Cause if it leaks to the VC, he could end up an MIA, and then we'd all be put on KP."

The S1 section of a BN is the personnel section. This is where they take care of paperwork that effects soldiers such as pay paperwork, promotion paperwork, paperwork for name changes, Leave, Pass, assignement changes, etc.
The term, "G2", means intelligence. For example, if your friend in another algebra class gives you some hints about what will be on the test, since you will take the same test later on that day in YOUR algebra class, that person has just provided you with some, "G2", or "intelligence", on the algebra exam. The G2 section within a division is the "intelligence" or information section that supports the divisions operations.
basically, it's THE list of everything you have or have done in the Army ... it has your ASVAB scores, a list of every unit you've been to, all the awards you're entitled to, the dates of all your promotions, pretty much your entire Military career on that one form.
