So I was in good shape... I mean in real good shape... But Ive ben with some dudes for a while who I have to PT with, but they dont do PT. They drag out the hour doing lots of stretching or "muscle failure" (a few crunches and push ups). So besides doing remedial PT (cause Ill tell myself Ill do it, but get too mentally exhausted from these dudes) what should I do? I dont want to gain any more weight, and have a PT test in a month that I was hoping to excell on, but am afraid ill do just as bad as my "team"

BLUF....PT is your responsibility. It is your responsibility to be physically fit, able and willing to complete your mission and tasks at all times. On that PT field there is no one to blame but yourself for failure.

There is no quick fix for being out of shape. You have to motivate yourself to do PT on your own. A bad PT program is not just a problem where you are at. It is a common thing in the Army. Too focused on the APFT rather than a true fitness balance. You have to make the sacrifice and go to the gym and eat right to maintain.
