As a 31B we have one station training for basic and AIT. If I drop a packet for drill does that mean I go where my MOS is or could you still go to any basic training unit as they see fit?

Ah Ft. Polk, what a wonderful place to be. You should be able to go to any basic training unit that they feel like sticking you in. When I came back from Iraq in 03 they took all of the squad leaders in my unit and put them on drill duty. We're Combat Engineers ,and they sent them to Ft. Jackson, and 21B AIT is in Ft. Leonard Wood. Hopefully that answers your question.
