I am schedule to PCS to Ft. Jackson and have a class date of Jan 12. Since I will be stationed there, will I be required to stay in billeting or can I go home at the end of the day?
Next question. I have a baby on the way with a due date of March 1st which falls on the last two weeks of school. Will I be able to see my child being born or is there a way to get a class date a little later so I am 100% focused and present for training.
This is an assignment that I really want, but need to find a way to make this work. Any help or if someone could put me in touch with someone who can help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You're gonna want a room. We usually got 20 minutes to clean up after PT, not enough time to run home, shower and change. The evenings and most weekends are Your time. If You can change Your class date I would, if You miss too much training You could be recycled or have to try and make up the training. Call the Unit Your PCS'ing to and let them know the situation. If Your date can be changed they should be able to help You. Good Luck.
Make it your only priority. Schedule after the Baby becase it will stress you. Theres lots of reading and retention every thing is verbatom And all aspects of your presence are evaluated. Your appearance will be inspected and module presentations will be meticulessly scrutunized. Your PT is advance and your abs are going to tell you. If your lucky your senior instructor. Will help you. They will not make it easy to wear that pumkin. Good luck
