You need to contact your branch manager at DA. But be careful of what you wish for. After a year of being an instrcutor they can sweep you up for a MITT.

I was automatically selected for the assignment but I had to go see the Special Assignments and fill out a Questionnaire so see if I was eligible for the assignment. You also need a mental evaluation, and a recommendation from your LTC and CSM your CDR and 1SG (all in the packet you will get from special assignments) have to sign off on it as well. |

PLUS, Now as instructors we are Squad Leaders for the Privates. My "squad" is 27 deep, we form up at 0450hrs, after I finish teaching mail call formation can be from 1700-1815hrs.. AND all of the other extra duties in army life..
