Have you heard of anyone going to DSS while on profile? No run, no road march, everything else ok (ankle injury).

I will ask for more info on Monday ( in class now) but everyone showed up 100%. We had a guy mess up his leg first day of PT, got a cast and kicked out. We are told if you can’t do more then 72 hours of training your out.

I asked my DS leader Today, he siad you can't have a profile.

Off the guard drill sergeant site it says:
Minimum physical profile (PULHES) 111221

Just to let you know, you cannot report to DSS with a profile. If you get hurt there and miss 72 or more hours you will get recycled with the next available cycle. Understand that if you report with a profile you will be sent back to your unit, however, you are not immediately dismissed from the Drill Sergeant Program. The only way you can be totally dismissed from the DSP is to have a major disqualifier (such as mental issues)on your record. Otherwise, you are on the DSP until you complete 24 months as a Drill Sergeant, retire, or make E8 before the big "A" begins to look for you again for DS Duty.
