One question messing Soldiers up on the boards now is "Who is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman (SEAC)?"

The answer is: Sergeant Major William J. Gainey is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

you can find his bio at this page:
http://www.jcs.mil/bios/bio_gainey.html

SGM Gainey is the 1st SEAC. This is a brand new position.

That was one of the questions the Sergeant Major asked on the board, so it's good to know.

This question does belong in the tough board questions section.

A soldier in my unit got kicked out of the board for answering "Command Sergeant Major William Gainey".

The correct response as of now is "The office of the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman is currently vacant. CSM Gainey retired on April 25th, 2008, and no replacement has been identified to fill the position."

I'm sure this is common knowledge to those who read military news, but I thought I'd put that out there for anyone going to the board anytime soon.
