You shouldn't have to, but it never hurt to double tap any of the things, like updating ERB, and finance, etc.
Let others chime is as well though, but it is only your career, if you need to follow up with people, it is your choice. I definitely would since plenty of things go wrong.
First thing is to hit up S-1 and make sure your orders are there, the HARDCOPY. All that other stuff can wait. Get that paper in your hand Aug 1, then you have proof of promotion and can get the new ID, resolve pay issues, etc. Fix the ERB after you get the orders, so there is proof of your duty MOS and DOR. The rest should take care of itself.

I would definitely check your S-1, Finance, and your ERB just to make sure everything is straight instead of waiting until something goes astray with your pay etc.

It's totally an inside joke man, but I won't hesistate to let you in on it, at the end of the Team America song "America, F*** Yeah", he spouts off stuff America is known for and at the end, they name off Sportmanship and BOOKS which gets no response, I found it funny. It gets me thru the day. lol
