I have been working out like a maniac for years. I'm FINALLY to the point where I can bench 215 2 times, curl 100 lbs 5 to 6 times and even squat 135 with ease. It's taken me a long time to get here. I feel good about myself and always get compliments about my arms.
I am SERIOUSLY worried when I get into bootcamp, I will loose all my muscle. I got sick in January with bronchitis and I mean I went from incline benching 175 6 times to barely being able to incline bench 155 6 times.
I lose muscle easily unfortunately. I am really afraid that I'll go into bootcamp 200 lbs, somewhat flabby, but still muscular, and come out a scrawny little 140 to 150 lbs and barely be able to lift like I use too.
Am I tripping? Do we get any chances in bootcamp to hit a gym? Let me know please. Thanks!
You'll lose weight and size but you'll keep most of your strength so once you get back in the gym you will add a lot back on might even get bigger. I went through the same thing.
hehehehe... my ex-gf use to call me CHICKEN LEGS! i've always had small legs. hopefully all that running in basic training will give me some real legs! That's why I wear baggie clothes MANNN to hide my itty bitty limp legs. I mean my legs are so bad they are more limp than my dysfunctional penis! -- lil tipsy over here btw
PS. Thanks for ya'lls replies. Showin' mad luv, I APPRECIATE THAT! PS on myspace im thasandniga. Idk if that'll get removed because of advertising. If so, my fault my fault.
Side note. Right now, I sleep til about 11 or 12. Then I wake up and watch Maury and Jerry Springer. Then I catch the bus and get lunch. Then I work out at the gym. By 4:30 I catch the bus back, get my beer, cigs and groceries and head home and do my night thang. Only thing I have in my benefit is I was through juvenile boot camp. 3 PTs a day, showering naked butt-to-butt with other juveniles, beating rushed to the ground if we did anything wrong, and having only 10 minutes to eat. Plus we learnt basic drill there too. I'm glad for that experience! It'll hopefully help a little with my upcoming BT experience.
Just checked your myspace the Army will get rid of your man boobs and your body fat looks like its around 20 percent so you definitely have fat to burn. So you should keep the muscle you do have while getting leaner. Just read one of your blogs about how white folk will never understand. I hope you don't talk like that while wearing the uniform.

Stop the cigs, and the beer, and the Springer- he's not good for anybody.

Aaaand lets try to keep THAT kind of talk to a minimum...
I'll give you this though- You don't look like you have "20%" body fat.
Army standards tape around the neck and waist nope less then 20% but if you break out the calibrators and do the stomach chest back and arm you would get between 18-20%.
