I don't know if there is already a topic about this, but the study guide on this site has tons of grammatical errors, missing information, and incorrect information. You can find tons of grammatical errors anywhere like commas in the middle of a sentence. For missing information, look at the questions under M72 "How do you inspect the M72." And for incorrect information, ACES stands for Army Continuing Education System. And the questions for SOCAD, one line says ...Associates Degree... and the other line says ...Army Degree.... Is it just me or the creators of this guide just doesn't care about the quality and accuracy of these study guides? Don't get me wrong, I commend the creators for making such a guide that's used almost as a standard for boards. But because of that, too many soldiers are relying on these guides and I see so many questions not up to date.

I have also noted that the NCO creed is wrong...

Hey CYNIC, how bout you thank the creators of this page and offer suggestions to help certain issues that you see.

You see the people(NCOS and Soldiers) that create this site are HUMANS, therefore from time to time, they make mistakes. If you are not sure if something is right, then refer to the proper regulation; do not sharpshoot the freakin creators.

Why is it that instead of making suggestions or making something better, you complain and do nothing!

Since you see so many questions not up to date, once again bring it up to the moderators.

You are on the website so instead of complaining about a problem...be part of the solution!

That goes for you to GO Ordnance!

Did you even read my paragraph? I said "I commend the creators" or do you not know what the definition of commend is? I know for a fact that the author(s) of this study guide knows about the errors because how many versions have been out already? The front page says "Since 1999" and the dates on the guide topics read June 25, 2006. I would expect someone to catch most of these errors. I'm not bashing the authors, I didn't say they were a bunch of slackers or morons now did I? You probably read the first two sentence and got WAAAAY emotional about this. Want a cookie? I'll email it to you.

Okay, obviously I can tell that you are the rank of E-4 or below because of your attitude.

I do get emotional about anything in the Army!

Yeah go ahead, and email me the cookie from your nice little desk job in the states. Hopefully I will get it sometime here in Afghanistan...I am sure you are the one to dodge deployments too!

Shut up "Staff Sergeant". You can tell cYnic is E-4 or below? Well he at least didnt come on here and just randomly verbally trash whomever he first saw. This site does not belong to the Army so back off with your dumbwitted comments just cause you wanted to bash someone. And dont play the deployment card, cause your not going to win or get a free pass from this argument you started.

Wow "Staff Sergeant", your judging ability is the worse I've seen. I'll give you hints on where you are wrong. First off, I'm an NCO. Second, I'm not in the states, I didn't dodge deployments, and I'm not in Afghanistan or Kuwait, but I'm near there and I'm staying for 15 months.

Back on topic. Since these guides are in PDF format, I can't really edit them. The only option I could think of is copy and paste the topics from the website itself onto a word document and edit it there, then print. I have some soldiers who are working towards their promotion and it just bothers me that they are getting some of these questions wrong. I know there are other study guides out there but this is the only one that I know is free and there is no way I will force my soldiers into buying a study guide.

As an NCO "Staff Sergeant", you should be upset that the NCO Creed is wrong. FYI, I did e-mail them and tell them that it was wrong. So, stop getting all butt hurt about stuff you have no clue about.

Since you are so hooah, you should also know that the 7 steps to problem solving (FM 22-100 in case you didn't know) includes...

5-18. Identify facts and assumptions. Get
whatever facts you can in the time you have.
Facts are statements of what you know about
the situation. Assumptions are statements of
what you believe about the situation but don’t
have facts to support. Make only assumptions
that are likely to be true and essential to generate
alternatives.

Whoa, Whoa, WHOA. WTF, over??

I'm not even going to go into the ridiculous c**kfight that's erupted here. All I'm going to say is cYnic, thanks for being tactful about it and bringing the probems to light.

I'd recommend that Admin or one of the moderators set up a category where these problems can be discussed, and solutions can be found. But until then, stop the madness!!

I think SSG is right. You are just doing a bunch of complaining. Who cares about a few misplaced commas. I mean jeeze. Do like he said and bring it up to the moderators. They are always on here. And for the rest of you who can't take it when some one raises their voices, get over it or get out.

Please use the "ArmyStudyGuide Site Content" (linked below) to bring up any issues associated with the ArmyStudyGuide site.

http://community.armystudyguide.com/groupee/forums/a/frm/f/2551088031

Please be specific as to what needs to be changed/updated (i.e. page number, sectoin, paragraph, sentence) and site references (ARs, FMs, PAMs, etc) to verify information.

Staff Sergeant, you are correct in some aspects, but please don't assume certain things about Soldiers in this community (dodging deployments and such).

cYnic, please use the above link to bring up any incorrect information and references to go along with. I challenge you, as a Soldier and NCO, to help make this site/study guide a better refernece for our younger Soldiers.

It's YOUR career! Take control of it before someone else does.
