These are the errors that I've found from the PDF version of the Army Study Guide.
Page 7 - ACES stands for Army Continuing Education System, not Center
Page 8 and 9 - SOCAD where defined differently. In page 8, SOCAD was defined as Service Members Opportunity College Associates Degree while page 9 said, Service Members Opportunity College Army Degree
Page 54 - The first question has missing answers. The sentence just stops out of nowhere
Page 120 - I don't know if this is wrong, but on the question, "Who exits a military vehicle first" and the answer is "The senior person, then in ascending order." So from my understanding, the highest ranking comes out, and then the lowest ranking comes out? Ascending means going upward
Page 121 - The last question. At the first note of Retreat, you stand at the position of attention and hold that position until the last note of Retreat is played, not "To the Color"
The Fort Polk NCOA Leaders Book has the NCO Creed messed up. doesn't have consistently in "I will communicate consistently with my soldiers" and it should be rewards and punishment, not punishment and rewards. "those" should be replaced with "that" in "I will earn their respect and confidence as well as those of my soldiers"
"If you do not stand by me at my worst, you WILL NOT stand by me at my best."

Too easy, thanks. Going to take care of this by tonight.

I'll be working on taking out spelling errors.
Just to clarify, you mean the title of this post and not the study guide itself.

In the NCOER section of the study guide there is the following question, answer, and reference:
quote:
Who receives an NCOER? All NCOs (DA PAM 623-3 May 2006 /3-2/ PDF 40)
This is not accurate. First, the reference given DA PAM 623-3 May 2006 /3-2/ PDF 40) says the following:
quote:
3-2. Purpose and use - DA Form 2166-8 (NCO Evaluation Report) a. Purpose. Rating chain members use the DA Form 2166–8 (NCOER) to provide DA with performance and potential assessments of each rated NCO. The DA Form 2166–8 also provides evaluation information to ensure that sound personnel management decisions can be made and that an NCO’s potential can be fully developed. See appendix B for Human Resource Center Addresses. b. Sample. See figure 3–3 for a sample of this form.
I think this reference is provided because of the phrase, "assessments of each rated NCO", however if you look at the additional research I outline below I think you will see this is not the intended meaning.
My research, which is on the second page of the thread here, shows that CPLs are NOT required to receive NCOERs but ARE required to be counseled on a NCOER Counseling and Support Form (2166-8-1). The easiest way to fix the problem is to change the question to "Who CAN receive an NCOER?" instead of "Who receives an NCOER?".
"Those who would sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither."

Already changed it on the site per the suggestion above and have changed it in the PDF which will be reflected as soon as the next one is made available.
