My wife is in the hospital for a extended period of time due to complitcation of her preagnancy and a previouse back injury i am attempting to take convilescent leave for this. to take care of my wife and my child how possible is this and what do i need to do to make this happen thanks for your help and please reply quickly i have little time to make this happen
You need a note from the doctor with a reason for you to take convalescent leave. It's not something that's just handed out for time off, that's what regular leave is for. Most of the convalescent leaves I've ever seen were accompanied by a serious illness or surgery.
Also, you say you have very little time. With con leave, time isn't an issue. It's one of those things that can be pushed through. But if you are taking regular leave, I implore you to respect your unit's leave and pass policy. In mu current duty position, every leave and pass in my company goes through me, and nothing grinds my gears more than someone handing me a DA31 requesting leave or pass for 2 or 3 days from then, and expect me to push it through. I put it in Top's inbox, and 10 minutes later its back on my desk with about 30 "Disapproved" stamps all over it.
I think you'd be better off either trying to take regular leave and explaining the situation to your chain of command, or, you could try to request emergency leave. Pregnancy complications are definitely emergency enough, I think. Good luck.

I know when my wife had our baby she had some complications and my chain gave me 20 days of con leave but this took about a week to go through though but luckliy my mother and mother-in-law were there to help until I got the leave. Now I don't know if there is a reg or policy about husbands getting con leave but I know I was extremely fortunate for this. Ask your PSG if they know about the policy and also try to ask other soldiers that might have had a child recently if they got then you should be able to also. But like Smittaayy said you get wrong with regular leave or emergency leave if you need it quick.
