OK, I'm trying to find tthat thread about the telephone bill discount but I guess it didn't get moved over.

I just signed a new contract w/ Verizon and the dealer told me to call their customer svc about it. Just so I know, is this a one time deal or is it off of every month's bill? Has anyone of you gotten this discount yet? Any problems w/ customer service? Any magic words I should spew?

thx Wink

I use Sprint/Nextel which gives me a 19% discount because of military...shaves off a couple bucks every month.

I had verizon wireless plan back in Georgia and never knew about the military discount.

One of the officers got a good discount because she said she's getting the phone to use in the Army.

Her advice was to notify any cell phone provider and let them know your phone is for military buisness.

$1,400!!!!! *passes out*
I'd say that's just a tiny bit to much to pay...

I have Cingular. Go to the website and click on the military link. Also, call them and ask for the international services. I have World connect and international. $.99/min for mobile to mobile. My last bill was $350 (that's 950 w/rollover, family talk, MEdia basic, and the international talk). Better than the $1100 from 2 months ago.
