When he gets his station, I would like o move to be with him. Is this possible? I know some places have no family bases, but cud he live off base somewhere with me?
any other iformation about anything seen as releavent would be helpful!

Jo,
First off, this is an Army forum. I am sure there are probably some people here who know something about the airforce but most probably don't. That said in the army your BF would most likely have to live in the barracks unless he was married. If he wanted to get an apartment off post, theres really nothing stopping him, but he wouldn't recieve any housing money or any additional money for food.

My brother graduated from USAF Basic about 6 months ago (believe me, I tried to get him to join the Army!!!).

He has a girlfriend that wanted to move in with him after graduation, but they were smart enough to wait a few months (maybe longer) for him to get settled and maybe more serious before they moved in together.

If you want information about USAF Basic Training you can chekc out: http://www.blueeagle3000.com

In the army which might be different then Air Force when it comes to this... Has different regulations...Your BF will most likely be placed in barracks and the only way to move out based on where he is stationed is e4 sometimes e-5 and below stay in barracks and others can live off base and the only two other way is if he has a child or is married! So....... Im not saying run off and get married or run off and have a kid but you might want to research the air force regs on this one
