Tonyb,
you wouldn't have any expierence to warrant a DOD position in this job...Remember you are competing again Navy, and AF as well as Marine personnel who have been doing this job for longer (E1-E9 01-08) and for example the AF/NAVY actually utilize more equipment and monitor more assets...You only request to use there toys...
As of right now it's to early to say what positions would be open other then instructors and an FSR for Crew devices.
This MOS is for Intergrating EW into plans and operations. You won't be operating to many set pieces, and you also won't be flying Air EA like the AF and Navy will so right there let's you know who'd be more qualified and have more training.
Most Electronic Attack assets aren't organic to Army units but are to AF and Navy units.
If you are looking for something that will translate to positions on the outside involving the spectrum look into Intel, or Signal...
But this could all change in the future. If I were the DA lol,I'd take all aspects of Electronic Warfare and give it to the EW career field. This will centralize Electronic Attack, Electronic Protection, and Electronic Support.
So 29E, 25E, 35S, 33W would all be under the same CMF.
