Hey guys.... I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of being called up for drill during the week instead of having it as normally scheduled for the weekend? Anyone ever heard of that or had that happen to them?

I have been on a drill from a Friday night (7pm+) through Saturday...

I used to do it all the time. Sometimes 6 days in a row.

Back in the late 80's when I was in the Iowa ARNG we used to have MUTA-5 drills about twice a year. Generally, Friday we packed up the dueces and jeeps so we could move out first thing Saturday morning.

My next drill is all day Fri to end of Mon. Making it a MUTA-8 and I know my brother has in the past had at least one MUTA-12. I like haveing the long drills myself but they are probly not for everyone.

used MUTA 8-12 on occasion to accomplish mostly WTT and qualification requrements. but generally if you eat up that much time on one month you end up having to have one month without a drill as you only get 48
