I just want to get an opinion on a situation. Soldier fails APFT in Oct.(Counseled, Flagged). Since October soldier HAS NOT taken diagnostic, record APFT also HAS NOT been counseled sense event(PERIOD).Only been counseled from the failure of the October APFT. Soldier has APFT scheduled for end of MAY, and has been told that failure of this APFT puts him on the chopping block. So in six months time, soldier only has one counseling on APFT and one on Flagging. Does anyone else have a problem with this. Ultimatly, yes, it falls on the soldier for failing the APFT. But with leadership not giving proper quidence and counseling. I just find it strange that his CoC has led him down this way.
