Okay, ladies and gentlemen... For those of you who are reclassing into 91W and are due to arrive at Ft. Sam in the near future here is the deal. Sign in when your orders tell you to (at Bldg. 1152 and not 1350) and not a day sooner. Since there is little else for cadre to do except find some busy-work for you, give them and yourself a break. There are ten DSGs and 300 or so students at any given time. The IETers require constant supervision and limit the free time of drills to deal with your presence. Once you sign in you will be moved to an open bay for a few- while things are sorted out and classes are arranged. Then the fun begins. Classes start shortly thereafter and you will find yourself very busy with studying and so-on. I tried (unsuccessfully) to find out the living arrangements, packing list, and whatever else I could about future events at the course. My understanding is that prior service will be housed in 1-2 person rooms and will be responsible for most of their own well being (as it should be) until someone screws it up. Then the DSGTs will step in and make things miserable (as they should). I wish all of you well and hope these small tidbits help...
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and I'll give you something to friggin' cry about...
