Seems like pretty highspeed stuff. Not sure if they let ya jump right into it out of basic / AIT.

You gotta have it in your contract before you even go to basic (unless something has changed) to go to M6 straight outta basic. That is what I had done...but there were some very dissapointed people in AIT that thought they had it and didn't...without it in the origonal enlistment contract you have to report to your first duty station, and apply from there as you would for any school.
