As far as the MTOE is concerned, you can be slotted below and above your current skill level. Does it hurt being slotted in a lower position; hell yes, only thing you can do is try and get transferred internally, or if you have the required time remaining, you can call your branch and try to get reassigned.

Called branch already and my assignment manager was more than ready to put me on orders, someone else up there at HRC stopped it. It all goes back to some things going on within the unit, which I can explain in a long private message, if that's cool.
