Just looking for a bit of info about about this situation. I contacted my branch manager is regards to an assignment upon return from Iraq. He offered me a place I wanted to go and I accepted the offer. Today the assingment posted on ASK and it is showing a report date that is just before I will return from Iraq. With me not being able to make the date due to deployment will I lose this assignment? or is there a time frame in which to operate that will still allow me to keep this assignment?

Double check the date and make sure you're looking at it the right way. I know when I first looked at mine I thought the report date was October 11, but it was actually November 10. It was just a stupid mistake on my part, reading the 20081110 the wrong way. Not saying you did the same thing...but it's possible.
