SO yeah they got me, supposedly im going ot be an Instructor @ Ft Gordon. Anyone out there been there done that? or doing that now? wheres a good place to live? I keep hearing grovestown if anyone has anything to add please do.

I'm here now. Grovetown is out gate 2. Real close to base nice houses and good schools. If your in to fast food they have Mc Donalds,KFC and Subway. It's about 10 minutes away from the mall and 15 from downtown using I-20.

im here now too, i live out in augusta, about twenty mins from post but right in the middle of everything. mall is 4 mins, my wifes work is 1 - 2 mins, 3 shopping centers within 2 - 3 minutes depending on which direction you drive. i definantly considered grovetown, it is very very close to gate 2, however gate 2 doesnt have the greatest hour of being open. if it is closed its the same drive as it would be from skinner mill / walton way area.
