My wife and I are duel military and I am currently station at FT. Bragg, where I was at when she joined the Army, and deployed to Iraq. When she joined she was told there were no slots for her, 68WM6, at Ft. Bragg so we figured that I would just go where ever she went once I redeployed. Now she is at Ft. Knox and my branch manager says there are no slots for me there however a slot has opened up for her at Ft. Bragg, problem is she has only been at Knox for two months. Is there anyway around her staying at Knox for a year or are we stuck. I searched AR614-200 but found nothing that could help us. Anyone have experience with a similar situation? Thanks
Pretty sure you are stuck. You can, however, extend your tour there based on MACP so your following tour will correspond together.
Remember, MACP isn't automatic, so if you haven't explicitly signed up for it, it won't happen automatically (without working endlessly with your branch manager).

Maybe just maybe she can waive her 12 month stabilization at her current duty station but I highly doubt it will happen, not even Recruiting gets you out of there earlier than 12 months...I came up on orders for Recruiter a year to the day after I arrived at my current station.
Lead by Example!!!
