Which one? Grovetown Elementary is closer to base, but many of the houses are not so good. I live in "pepper hill"- the first subdivision out Gate2. I'm probably closer to my office than people living on-post.

Thanks- I was right behind the police station, but it was kind of small and old. we found a place w/ 4bedrooms for $1000 even, they had been TRYING to rent it for $1250. we were blest with the right time after a lot of internet searching..

One of my battle buddies lives on one of those streets, and another in the next subdivision over. Yeah they "lifted" the water restrictions this spring, then put them right back on a month later.. I was telling the wife that they should build a bunch of apartments for Soldiers here, but she's reads the local papers and said they don't want any more apartments or commercial areas. PS- for a nice sunday walk get on "Harlem to Grovetown road" and go AWAY from IGA and post- the "Euchee Creek Trails" are maybe a half mile from your house. (they have parking.)
