It is looking like my husband will get assigned to Fort Bragg, does anyone have some constructive advice or info about the area for a family with two young children heading there? Thanks!
As far as Bragg in general, it is an awesome place to live, especially with family! What unit is he in? If he is 82nd Airborne, expect for him to work his ass off especially depending on what DRB status he is on. The housing market is awesome for a buyer if you feel like you will be staying sometime and there are lots of fun things to do, plus you have many big cities just an hour or two away. The biggest decision as far as family time with your husband will depend on his unit though, but there are plenty of things to do without your husband if he can't go because of work. Great shopping, tons of restaurants!
