Also, another way they word it is: "You are authorized to depart this installation in accordance with DA31 provided your leave date does not exceed your report date." or something to that effect. Meaning, if your unit will allow your early report and your DA31 reflects this, you are good to go.
No one specified how one goes about getting "early report" status put on their PCS orders. I for one would like to know, as I am in a similar situation.

I just reenlisted for Gordon and have a report date of 10 Jan 2010 I am currently deployed until late June 09 early July 09. I plan on taking the 90 days stabilization then trying to get the heck out of dodge. How would I go about getting things bumped up.
