i am a 3 1/2 year spc. i just PCS'd to fort gordon this past april. i hate this place, this is my first strategic unit and i hope they are all not as horrible as this place is. once ive been here for a year any clue how i can get the hell out of here? im ready to grab my wife and move on as soon as possible. thx

When is your ETS?

Check your requisitions on AKO. I think you have to have had 1 or 2 years at that duty station before you can leave, but at least you know you will be on your way! It is at the ASK section of your AKO, it tells you where you can go.

I just checked for you. For a CONUS assignment (TRADOC) you have to have 24 months time on station (at that duty station) by the report date of the requisition you choose, and if your unit is not TRADOC, you have to have 12 months TOS by the report date of the requisition. Hope that helps!

Well if your unit is not TRADOC, and you have a requisition in your AKO ASK that reports after April, you can be gone by next April...
