I am currently TDY for reclass school and i reside at a hotel which is good to go with me. The problem I have is on my orders, I am not authorized rental car and its necessary for me to get back and forth to formation.

How do I get a rental car put on my orders so I won't have o pay for car rental out of pocket, which I cannot afford?

Is it TDY Enroute or TDY Return? If it is TDY Return, your home unit/duty station is responseable for funding. If it TDY Enroute, it is up to "Big Army." Get with your S3 PLEX and they can see about ammending your orders.

Also, if you have your own POV, you get in and around mileage. Since you're living off post, you may be able to get 30 or 40 miles per day. This would benefit you in the long run.
