well if you would want to swap assignments from Fort Eustis, you might want to first learn how to spell properly. Notice the correct spelling of Eustis and assignments in this post!

I was taught that you always capitilize the first word of any sentence. Maybe you should have learned that before posting a reply insulting a soldier that is asking a legit question.

Be careful what you ask for. FT Gordon isn't the greatest place to call home. It is all TRADOC and the city of Augusta lacks any real understanding as far as civil growth and potential development. Key plus points is you are 2 hours away from ATL (which is okay) and 1 hour from Columbia SC. Good luck on this attempt to swap assignments. Hopefully you'll get assigned to a decent unit.

Next year HHC 35th Sig BDE deploys. Next year 4th Sig BDE is suppose to join Ft Gordon. NSA is building a site that will hire over 3,500 people on Ft Gordon.
And in general, you will be limited to half the base because of AIT, will not want to go to any place on base because of AIT, and will not want to go to any good places off base because of AIT.
The AIT soldiers here, not really the best and the brightest. They freely roam the middle of the most traveled streets on Gordon with out looking or careing about cars.

Oh, why are you trying to escape? Have you read the new Army Times? Your deployment is coming soon! You can't run, SPC! VA to GA TRADOC is a no go! Stop playing and get on the next flight smokin' to the middle east!
