Fort Huachuca and 11th signal brigade is way better then 35th Sig and being at Fort Gordon. So if Fort Gordon is another option cross that out. I have been in 40th Sig BN which falls under 11th and it wasn't bad in my personnel experience.

I was stationed at Fort Huachuca at the end of Vietnam. Loved the post. Loved Arizona. The residents are retired military and there was not the disrespect found other places. More brass than grunts though. If you are bored, its your fault. Talk about old Arizona, you have Tombstone, Bisbee, Patagonia, Old Tucson, Cochise's strong hold. History everywhere. As long as you stay out of Flagstaff you will find everyone loves the military. I moved to Arizona full time when I retired. My understanding is that 11 signal group was one of the first major units shipped to Vietnam. I was assigned Hdqrts Co B and Worked at Greeley Hall. Enjoy the southwest. I am proud of all of you choosing to serve. God bless all.

BISBEE is not a town that is military friendly. Damn pot smoking tree huggin hippies.
I been to bisbee, never had an issue, while they are kind of crazy over there, as long as you dont bother them, they dont bother you.
Lead by Example!!!
