My husband is stationed there... I know he and people who worked with them would deploy individually for 6 months at a time... He told me that may be changing

May be changing as in getting longer or shorter? I'm just curious as my husband and I want to have another child and I want to plan it right. I have no problem deploying and would love it if they were 6 months. Someone in my unit here at Bragg said that one of his NCOs was in HQ (my same MOS-25R) and that their 'deployments' were really TDYs following the general downrange to check up on his troops all over. Now, I guess that probably depends on what section you end up in, but that would be even more awesome. It will just be nice for me to even do my job. Or at least do something close to it, like in the Public Affairs realm. My actual MOS is maintenance on broadcast equipment but I'm more trained on how to use it since that's all I've been doing the past 2.5 years here at Bragg. Editing video, shooting, taking photos, doing 3D animation... Thank you for your help though! Are you there as well?
