got some random orders to PCS to riley, home of the 1st infantry division, and thats all i know. Im a cav scout...any cavalry out there know whats goin on at riley for us? what do we do there?

All I know is that it's in Kansas, and a 25N (signal) and Trumpet player, both friends of mine, are going there next month..

Okay this is whats up. 1st Brigrade is standing up from training the MITT teams. They are becoming an HBCT. So my guess would be you are going to them. 2nd Brigrade just got back and 4th Brigrade is in the process of deploying. They might be all there now not sure. 3rd Brigrade is at Fort Hood, Tx. So that's bout it. I'm in the 101st BSB with the 1st Brigrade. We're supposed to be trained up and ready to go by next fall. That may all change though depending on afghanistan. Oh and there is an avaiation Brigrade and other subunits. If you want to know more go to the Fort Riley homepage and it gives you all the info you need.

I was in a Cav unit on Riley from early 2005-till late 2006. I know 4th Cav set back up there. If you have any questions I'd be happy to pass on what I know. By the way ArMyDaD_Of_2 what company 101st? I was in C-co 101st back in 04
