I am EFMP for my son; he is a transplant patient. We have all of our EFMP paperwork filled out and updated I am just wondering where all we might be sent. If anyone knows anything this type of thing please let me know! Thanks!

There is no actual specific point for EFMP. I know of people that are enrolled in EFMP that are allwed to go overseas. What happens is they review your efmp packet and determine if the treatment you child needs is available. My daughter is in EFMP and we are in Germany. We had to wait for our packet to be reviewed and were told that she was approved to be overseas, because her condition could be handled where we were. You will hear back a decision soon, but from dealing with EFMP there is no specific duty station for children enrolled in EFMP.

Thank you for your response. I hope that we do get to go back to Europe that would be awesome! My son will need a physical therapist and maybe a feeding specialist as well as a gastroenterologist. Also, were you guys ever on a compassionate? Our compassionate expired on the first of this year, and we are kind of wondering when we will get reassigned.
