Anyone ever been stationed in this lovely area? I was sent there "wrongly" before I was deployed to CENTCOM HQ, but it seemed pretty nice.

I am 25F...but I now know that that spot is hard to get. Soldiers get there and they don't leave. Same for SOUTHCOM HQ in Miami. I might try again for that one in 08.

I recruited in Tampa. Use to go to Macdill all the time. It's gotten really nice. Good luck getting station there though.

I was there in JCSE for a while and loved every minute of it

SSG Airborne, Whats your MOS, and How did you get to JCSE. Im in the process of trying to get there now. Its like no one really knows anything about it.

Shoot an email to your assignment manager to see if there are open slots. Your branch will get with the Special Assignments branch to place you on assignment.

Yea I have tried but my Branch Manager always gives me 1 word answers to my questions. Im a 25Q and as SSG's we are very overstrength. SSG Cutoff has been 798 for the bast 30 Months! and we have an Out in the IN/OUT column but I cant reclass into anyother Signal MOS because my EL Score is too low. Where can I find current MTOES for units?

There's a website out there that I have at work I can post. You login with your AKO information and you must have a secret clearance or above to view it; although it's not secret.

Yea I start FAST classes Sept 3rd, And then I will retake the ole ASVAB. But I have to Re-up before I finish the classes or I will miss out on the Enhanced Bonus.

SSG E there are no 25Q there. All they have is 25S,25C, and 25B there. But it never hurts to try. Hit up the CSM there his name is CSM Mccomas

I was stationed with JCSE from 05-07..i requested to leave early..anyway MacDill was nice and I loved Tampa..JCSE i dont think so...I plan on going to the Tampa area when i get out

I have orders for there and can't seem to find anything about it. Is there anything anyone can tell me?

This is a bit late..but I also have received word from branch I'm heading to McDill. Awaiting orders now..
