Listen. If you are going to call branch there are two things you need to understand.
1. You will be speaking to an E-7/8 who is extremely busy fielding questions from Soldiers in your MOS/branch.
2. Know what you want before you call (if you are looking for an assignment, have at least three ready that you would be willing to accept). DO NOT call your branch manager and ask him/her "what are my options or where can I go" unless you want to be stationed at the south pole!
