I am reclassing to 11B and graduate OSUT in July '08. I was told that I would go to a unit that was needing my rank filled and was in the next shute to deploy. Anyone know what units are scheduled to go around then? I am a E-4P now and doubt I will get picked up before I get MOS qualified. So within 2 months of graduating I will pin SGT. Would kinda like to at least narrow down where I may be going ya know? Thanks in advance!

I would plan on the typical posts... Campbell, Hood, Carson, Drum, Polk, Lewis, Riley, etc. You know, the places no one really wants to go, but they do anyways.

Yeah I kinda figured that. lol! Looking for a narrower choice. At least 2 or three units that are going? Trying to look for places to live for my family and jobs for my wife. Besides anywhere is better than Ft.Lee home of the quartermaster!

July 08 is to far out to guess options. Things change to much with deployments. Soon after starting school you should have something in your ASK about where you are going.

Yeah I was afraid of that, and I don't think I will be afforded many oppurtunities to check my AKO in infantry OSUT! Which is fine with me, I'll just have the wife check it for me. Thanks again

I would take Campbell off that list, considering we will all be gone. Bragg is a possibility, as far as timing goes. Sorry can't be of more help!
