Is there anyone out there that can shed a little light on the schooling for 97E. I know about the DLI portion, but is it before or after the MOS portion? How long is the MOS portion at Huachuca?

I tried to look on the website (Huachuca), and I didn't find anything on 97E training.

I read on this site that soldiers don't require a language anymore but NCO's still do. Is that why the MOS portion is before the DLI? Because I am an NCO would I attend DLI first since NCO's require a language? (incase I fail out, which won't happen)

email me at matthew at ej20 dot us

but basically you need a language to be promoted to staff sergeant now.

the MOS training is ALWAYS before the language training, even before they instituted the new rule/reg, unless you are NG or USAR then DLI comes first, for whatever reason.

im not sure exactly what info you are looking for besides that.
