I have signed on as an E4 in the Army Reserve as a 35M. I will be out in the early part of 09' finished with Basic and AIT school. I don't have a language option in my contract and was wondering if it is possible to include additional training to be language qualified for this MOS.

If this is an enlistment option, is it too late to add it to my enlistment contract as an incentive?

If language training is not an enlsitment option and/or its too late, what is the best approach to request language training? Is it possible to go to DLI after AIT and if so, what's the best approach to get to Monterey after AIT?
