I am currently getting ready to enlist (waiting on college transcripts and medical records before I head to MEPS) and am having a hard time narrowing down my list of possible of MOSs. I think I have as good an understanding of what the job will entail while I'm enlisted as I'm likely to get. My current list of choices looks like 35M, 35K, 35F, 35L, and 35N in no particular order. One of the things I have not been able to find is which of the above will be the most useful in a post-military career.

I'm looking to serve a few (3-6?) years and use the training to further my career. I'm not dead set on that path but without knowing what military life is like I can't say I will want to be there for 20+ years. If I'm not interested in spending my time with the 3 letter agencies, where am I likely to find work and which MOSs seem to translate well outside of the Army?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, sorry for the longish post, just trying to gather all the info I can before I start signing paperwork.

Many of them don't have a direct correlation to civilian life if you take away the Three Letter Agencies (TLAs) from the equation. Most contracting jobs you can get (CACI, General Dynamics, Booz Allen Hamilton, etc.) with those skillsets will still require your contracting location to be at a TLA, even if not working directly for said TLA.
