I have been notified of my approval to reclass into 35L. I am an E6. I was wondering if anyone had some info on the school. I am aware it is 18 weeks long and going to be a TDY enroute. Looking for info on the living conditions itself, as far as; will I be living in barracks or off post and if in barracks would I be able to live off post if I choose? Also is it nights and weekends off? General info if anyone knows. Thanks for the help.

SSG H,
Im in inquiring about the 35l mos as well, and was wondering how long did it take you to get selected from HRC?
Also what was the most difficult part of the process that u ran into, if any? If you can give me so insight on how i can get this accomplished, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance

I was at the school earlier in the year and while I am sure the course has changed I believe some thing have not. They were renovating barracks, so I stayed off post in a studio apartment. Many of the soldiers stayed in long term hotel lodging.

We usually got out of class around 1730-1800 but it was not like you were off. You usually had a couple hours of work a night for the next day. Saturdays are usually for training as well. THere is a lot of work outside of class so I was usually spending a good portion of my freetime trying to work ahead so as to not fall behind.

I was accepted into 35L as well and had the same questions. From what I have heard it did entail early mornings, along with some work on nights and weekends. I was also looking for any help on anything I should be doing to get ready for the course before I show up.
