I reclassed to 96D after not being able to get promoted in my old MOS. It has turned out to be a very good job, I enjoy my job, get to do some very interesting work. I've been at it for 2 yrs now, I was on the team that produced imagery for targets in Iraq while I was deployed to Kuwait. It is definitely a rewarding experience. I must say though, AIT is not easy, if you are not a very visual person, or someone that misses picking things out, this job might not be for you. Also, computer knowledge is a definite plus.

I'm a 98H and actually lived in the same barracks in AIT as the 96D. I don't know about the actual schooling, but the living is not all that bad. The barracks were not horrible, the drills are a lot more relaxed at FT. Huachuca, and the town the post is in is not that bad. Not much to do, but not that bad.
