Just a quick update... Branch rejected my K9 request. They said: "The Soldier can reenlist for the ASI. I am denying the request because I need the Soldier to have more than 2 years in the K9 program to justify the Army to pay for the course." To me that means: "The soldier comes into his reenlistment window on 5 JUL 2007. We know this, and the Soldier told us he would rather die than not reenlist, so we know that he'll give us those two years we want sooooo bad. But why just GIVE him the school when he can waste a reenlistment option on it? Screw you, bucko!" I hate Branch... now and forever. I'm still gonna reenlist for it though. I want this school too bad. Or maybe... Army Reenlistment, is there a way I could fanaggle an assignment AND a school? Or is that just really illegal?

sorry to change the subject, I'm planning on reclassing, have a few MOS's in mind, MP is one. So from reading this, to get k9 you have to be an MP for awhile then reenlist for k9? I'm infantry right now, my reenlistment window is open in a month, i would love to go k9 MP.

Oh yes the quote "Its not a matter of IF you'll get it is WHEN." So true but as much as it hurts you can not be mad at those guys when they look up at you seeming to say "sorry, mom or dad." IT'S AWESOME!!!!! Oh another perk to the job is you get to adopt your old MWD's if they retire!! My very first MWD I worked outside of the school now lives at my house!!
The average Shepard can run 35mph, can you??
